Contrast

Last week was a good week. 4 days of riding with one of those days offering both road and dirt. Contrast to this week, one day of riding and an evening watching some crit racing. Good, but could've been better. But that is what the past 2 weeks have been all about: contrast.

For instance:

• Sign title for new car, get parking ticket notice in mail for missing car.
• Schedule an appointment Thursday morning for the Lemonaero, get call from another shop confirming appointment for missing car for the same day and time.
• Pay off new car, get registered letter requesting $2000 or my car gets sold by the weekend (yeah the first tow company I called (and called repeatedly and whom the police also called) had my car just not legally or done by the books so they waited not a week, or 2 weeks, or 1 month, but nearly 3 months so they could force me to pay big bucks with little time before they could "legally" sell my car.)
• Dream Levi got 13 minutes on the group and Lance lost 13 due to a hamstring issue Saturday night, watch as Lance loses 13 minutes to the group due to several crashes and bad luck Sunday morning.

Tomorrow is more contrast, literally. CT scan of the liver with contrast. I'm hoping this one doesn't follow suit since Tuesday we had a case of a patient going to CT and having an allergic reaction to the dye and going into severe anaphylaxis. Yep, don't need that. Stay tuned...
