Another Rainy Race?

Sunday is the AMBC/SERC race at Chickasaw. For most folks in the area, this is the kick off race for the season. Unfortunately my new race steed won't be here in time and my aging eccentric hub on the temporary stand in (for the recently deceased JBDC) was blowing up at DtheP's trail Monday. Maybe I can get it to stay together and limp through the race...

Race or no, I'll be there with the SORBA tent, some Moots stickers, and Dirt Sweat and Gears tickets ringing some cowbell and heckling friends. The weather is looking par for course with t-storms today, tomorrow, and (at the moment) clear skies on race day. Just checking the current forecast it looks like the rain chances should be out of here by mid-afternoon, which bodes well for camping.

You can save a few bones by registering online or in person Saturday at the Cabin. While you're online registering, swing over to bike reg and register for Dirt Sweat and Gears presented by Moots and Swiftwick. Don't forget to click the donate to SORBA option for a chance to walk away with a sweet Moots frame.
